The challenge
Program delays averaged fourteen weeks across the order book, and licensed engineers were leaving at a rate the HR data called normal and the hangar called a crisis.
What we did
James Calloway's team installed a program control tower with one weekly board and one truth of schedule, then traced forty real decisions to find where the weeks went. A dual career ladder gave named technical roles with pay bands to match.
The first promotion round ran with the client's own panel; the second ran without us.
The outcome
Average program delay fell from fourteen weeks to three. Retention of licensed engineers rose from 78 to 91 percent, and the control tower still runs the Monday meeting.
Average program delay −11 weeks
Licensed engineer retention +13%
Decisions closed within one week +42%
