The challenge

Strandline sold robots but not the business around them: service revenue sat at 8 percent of sales while utilization data on deployed cells went uncollected, and every quarter's installs became next quarter's unpriced obligations.

What we did

Marcus Feld's team built the service economics first: what a response-time promise costs by region, what spare parts inventory it needs, and what customers would pay for uptime rather than visits.

A lightweight telemetry layer then gave the service team real utilization numbers, and contracts were rewritten to sell guaranteed availability on the forty cells with the best data history.

The outcome

Service revenue share rose from 8 to 17 percent in a year. Average robot utilization across the monitored vehicles rose from 54 to 71 percent, and the availability contracts now renew at a price premium the churn numbers support.
